WITH MINIMAL,GO GLOBAL

There are times when each one of us has gone overboard doing the interiors at some point of time or the other because we never thought ''less could be more''.
In this post i bring to you the gorgeous world of less..come one, come all, join me,have a look ..be inspired and adapt the minimalist look ..bring changes you never thought about...

very openly speaking, many of us would still wish to plant  an item here and there and feel the completeness of  the decor..but does less look not work perfectly here in the above picture..try it  and please let me know...

whether for a small or a large space the minimalist look works equally well for each decor..it may be imperative in case of a smaller area..in case of the larger one this look brings out the chic factor subtly..

This set up may not be effective without the help of the other decor elements such as the-
*lighting-whether natural or artificial..light could play important underlying part for completion of this look
*colours-whether ofthe wall/s or the furniture or the furnishings..go by your choice..go"colour-board" if the space allows..safe bet would be to play safely with colours..
*lastly the placement of each item-let them be placed comfortably neither scattered around nor cramped up..

Keep one thing in mind while doing the bare minimal look for your interior that you pick one point of focus which could be-
*the decal or the wall paint/colour  or picture frame/s  or mirror/s  hung on the wall
*a decorative item-the vase/s urn/s pot/s ..with/out flowers..gadget-tvs/home-theatre..
*furnishings-soft furnishings like the green curtains in the second picture of this post..rugs/carpets/cushions..
*or  even the furniture pieces..

The colours plays an important role here in the above two  pictures,,their brightness enliven the whole space and make for the less of any kind..this look befits both whether a small living area or a larger area..
Having an idea to experiment with now,do bring out the decorator in you and give it a shot..waiting for your responses..
do take a moment and write your valuable comments...

COCOONED BY CUSHIONS

A very quick-fix step for decor remodelling comes in the form of furnishings..when no time in hand you can definitely take the help pillows or cushions and brighten up a room..yes this time throwing will help you, throwing up cushions and pillows was what i meant :-)

whether in low seating arrangement or a regular one these soft furnishings are items of sheer adulation..hold your breath and take a tour of these soft-n- lovely pieces of inventories..
let us for today focus mostly on cushions..
you can go by your preference-make it colourful and do all the talking or by soothing tones from monochrome clan and stand out..your efforts in every attempt would be noticed and praised too :-)
do not forget to either
go with the colour family of the other furnishings of the room (coordination) or
you may opt for the contrasting colours to the existing furnishings in your room.
you may even mix-n-match them..
some instances for you to follow through..

now who would have thought that grey could easily become one with this arrangement of cushions!!
surprising, isn't it,try such ''breaking the mould'' ideas and be ready to lap up praises..try one now and please do keep  me in the loop of your decor adventure..

FABRIC of the cushion would entirely depend on its use and placement, hence select sturdy fabric if you have young children at home (like mine )..from crochet to cottons to plaids and not to forget the rich silk and the satin..

put these bundles of fur, fibre, feathers to soften the look of your room..instead of the plain ones go for the decorative ones especially if the furniture they adorn is simple in appearance..

inspiration and ideas are afloat around you..yes,you guessed right,in the following example it is the large mirror on the wall and the wall-to-wall carpet that gives you a hint so as to how to go about while choosing the colour for the cushions...plain would not have had the same effect as these patterned prints have, what do you say-let me know...

yes here-the picture below, the rug plays a vital part too..now you see that the other pieces present in the room are sources of idea for you..implement this idea beginning from today..i hope you do..

the above look is simple yet bold and powerful in its statement..very sturdy as the seating itself the cushions are undeniably the fillers here.

a few cushion designs from simple to patterned to braided ones are here (for inspiration)..if you can make one then voila!! i'd be delighted to know that you made one or a few..

elegant isn't it,the zebra stripes add fervor to the living area..big,bold.beautiful,isn't it..how well  the animal stripes blend with the interior...

sorry for overlooking the other decor items in this post..don't the papaya orange cushions do wonders for this seating, what do you think let me know..please do leave your comments...
would continue in the new post about the other furnishings..do then too have a look,please..till then

WAYLAID BY COLOURS GALORE

some bright colour decor options for both the furnishings and the walls for you all..take a tour and be enchanted!!

choose either for the furnishing or for the walls depending on your liking...go for colorful decals they are widely used these days..or you can go for both..be experimental and stretch your comfort level  to your ease.

don't go entirely haywire with color for the whole home space, play safe even while experimenting..pick one room or a wall ..and if you still may then place articles for decorations which might speak aloud for their colours mainly...

purple power, are you game for it..go by your liking rather than being a trend follower..

some soothing and bold, electrifying decors for you to have a look and be mesmerised...

go for the empowering dark and bold colour tones as in the  above two interiors  if  the room permits sufficient elements of natural light into the  room or be daring as you could be and stand out in the crowd by doing what others wouldn't easily dare to ..and that is nothing but experimenting with colours ..

after having a treat to your eyes do not forget to pick colours from same colour family or palette or go by their contrasting features..here are both the options for you to pick from..take your time, have a look and bring out the decorator in you..post me the changes you bring in..be open in writing comments too,it would be highly appreciated..
